    The Animal Clinic of the Humane Society of Sarasota County

    All appointments for October are currently full.

    We have a limited number of appointments available on November 20 and 21.

    Prescription Refills: All current clinic clients may inquire about the availability of their prescription refills. The availability of refills is subject to veterinarian approval, duration of treatment and most recent exam date.

    Accessing Pet Records: For your convenience, the quickest way to access your pet's medical record is through the VitusVet app. You may also request records via email at [email protected].

    TLC Program Clients: Please rest assured that your pet's care will continue. To assist our team in scheduling your appointment, please identify yourself as a TLC Program participant when contacting the Animal Clinic for appointments and prescription refills.

    Contact Information: For appointment scheduling (when available), prescription refills and record requests, our phone line and email inbox will be monitored Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. We are closed daily for lunch from 12:30pm-1:30pm.

    Please Note: Due to the limited number of available appointments, we will prioritize cats and dogs that are past due for vaccinations or due prior to November 1, 2024.

    About the HSSC Animal Clinic

    The Animal Clinic is committed to providing affordable, quality medical care to keep pets safe and in their homes. As a non-profit provider, we believe all pets deserve access to medical services to prevent future health problems. The Animal Clinic’s mission is to provide the preventative care your pet needs at an affordable rate.

    Since opening in 2016, the Animal Clinic has treated more than 30,000 patients. The Animal Clinic is a program of the Humane Society of Sarasota County, meaning all Animal Clinic proceeds support the care of the cats and dogs in the shelter.

    The Animal Clinic is a wellness-focused practice. The Animal Clinic does not operate as a full-service veterinary practice, nor are we able to offer emergency medical care.
