Memo:

Woof woof - what a catch! Snow White is the most affectionate lady on the block. She absolutely adores head scratches and will lean her entire body weight into you for cuddles. Snow White came to us from Miami-Dade Animal Services when her time was up and she had nowhere else to go. At just over two years old and just about 36 pounds, Snow White the Pit Bull Terrier mix is strong and full of lively energy. She has a beautiful pristine white coat with subtle spotting, loving eyes, a goofy and affectionate disposition, and a lot of excitement to be alive! She will thrive in a home which has plenty of space for her to run around, play plenty, and sprawl out for lots of naps. Snow White is a powerful girl who would benefit from consistent obedience training and consistent positive behavior encouragement. Are you ready to get to know this wonderful gal? Come in soon! Since Snow White is one of our long-term dogs, we offer a special "Slumber Party" with her! The slumber party is an extended trial period where Snow White stays in your home for 3-30 days. HSSC will provide all of her food, medications, and necessities during this time. Should you fall in love with Snow White during this time, you simply return to HSSC to complete the adoption and live happily ever after. Should you decide that Snow White is not right for you, you just bring her back to HSSC, and know that with feedback about her behavior, you have helped us look for the best home for her. Let us know if you are interested in this offer! Below, we give a little explanation as to why Snow White needs a home which accommodates her special needs: Snow White is a resource guarder. Resource guarding stems from jealousy and competition in which Snow White feels inclined to protect items she deems valuable (especially toys) from humans/animals that she deems as potential threats. She just can't get enough of her toys! For this reason, we believe Snow White would thrive best in a home with adults only and without other animals. If you are still interested in Snow White, our experienced staff will be happy to further inform and prepare you for Snow White's resource guarding and mild food aggression.
