At the Humane Society of Sarasota County, we believe that keeping pets in their loving homes is important. We have created this resource guide in hopes of keeping your furry family member with you.

Need a helping hand?
There are several resources here and in the community that can help you with a number of concerns you may have. 

Pet Pantry Program
HSSC will help qualified pet owners with dog and/or cat food on a monthly basis. Click here for details.

Spay/Neuter Program
The low-cost spay/neuter program is an innovative partnership between The Humane Society of Sarasota County and participating veterinarians. This program allows community service hours to be exchanged for low- cost spay/neuter certificates. The participating veterinarians provide these services significantly reduced rates in hopes of reducing the number of homeless pets.

K-9 Obedience Training
HSSC now offers a range of obedience classes! The classes range from basic obedience to advanced obedience and an introduction to agility. Our classes are fun and extremely affordable. For more information, click here.
