You can help by recycling aluminum.
We have set up an aluminum recycling program with Scrap All
of Sarasota, Inc. on Myrtle St. (across the street from Booker High School).
People can take their cans directly there. Scrap All will give us credit
for the cans and send us a check on a regularl basis along with a donation
from them as well (a percentage of sales).
Now
you can help us by donating a used car or truck.
The Humane Society of Sarasota County is now accepting donated cars, trucks,
vans, RV’s, boats and even planes to raise money to provide care
for the thousands of animals we see each year. Details
here.
Our Puppies and Kittens are Hungry!
The Humane Society of Sarasota County (HSSC) has lots of puppies
who are just learning how to eat solid food. They’re really fast
learners, and they’re eating up all our supplies. We need canned
and dry puppy food for several litters. These pups aren’t in adoption
yet, but they’re getting bigger every day, and pretty soon they’ll
be ready for new homes. Please help the babies at HSSC by donating puppy
food. For more information, call HSSC at 955-4131, or stop by the shelter
with canned food for our orphaned infants. For more information, call
955-4131 or stop by our shelter at 2331 15th St., Sarasota.
Thank You!!
